6.5 Months Preggo and in Wine Country

Once Christmas wrapped up Mark and I spent two nights up in Napa for some R&R which ended being more exhausting than relaxing. We toured Castello de Amorosa, a $100 million castle/wintery in Calistoga, did tastings at Louis Martini, Hess and other wine shops. And found a great diner called Taylor's Refresher which was featured on Food Network's Diners, Dives and Drive Ins. We stayed at the Westin Verasa which had a bocci call court. Overall, it was a lot of fun to explore, but on New Year's Eve we ended up down in Carmel Valley buying a case on Bernadus, the wine Jay got Mark for Christmas. Their Marinus is the best red we've ever had. We were laughing about how we spent all this money and time in Napa only to find the best wine ever in Carmel! Glad we know for next time!
