Playing Catch Up

I want to apologize to our friends who follow this blog. Since John's birthday things have been so busy that this little blog has taken a back seat. In March I launched a local website for women, www.SavvyHinsdale.com. Between that and taking care of this little man, I've been super busy. We had a fun spring but this summer has been rough. In June I came down with Cytomegalovirus, a virus of the Central Nervous System that imflames the brain, spinal cord and nerves. I spent 4 days in the hospital with 104 degree temps them came home and spent the next 5 weeks with symptoms. I'm not on the mend thank goodness.
Here are a few pictures to play catch up in the world of John Connor Cuthbert. This kid now sprints everywhere, swims with his dad, sings Old McDonald. He's hilarious and amazes me everyday.

The Birthday Week

It's hard to believe but little Mister John Connor Cuthbert is turning 1 this week! This blog has suffered a posting setback recently because of a new website I've launched. Any second I'm not with John I'm working on the site, www.SavvyHinsdale.com. This little man is quickly slipping into toddlerhood. He's becoming incredibly assertive, grunting at his Mama if he's not content, etc. This weekend we have a Dr. Seuss Party planned with family and close friends. I vow to have pics up!

Lil Shrimps

John started little shrimps swim class at the YMCA last week and is already jumping off the side to his Dad. He loves the water soooo much!

Key West

Two days after the Blizzard of 2011 the Cuthberts packed their bags and headed to Key West. It was such an amazing time. Six glorious days of fun in the sun! The man also went swimming for the first time and as you'll see in my next post he is now in lessons.

Skybox Baby

Tonight we were thrilled to join the Rago family in their skybox at the Bulls game. John Connor had a hot date with Miss Alivia Rago.

Winter Fun at The Lakehouse

We spent the MLK weekend at the lakehouse for a change of scenery and had a wonderful time. We mostly just hung out around the house, watched movies and did a little bit of sledding on the lake, which is frozen. Mark and John had a chance to debut their big guy lil guy shirts at the Fischer Lake Inn. It was hilarious!
