It's a Wrap

The Hinsdale Junior Woman's Club held out end of the year party on Tuesday night, and we handed over a check for $129,000 to At Home Kids, our philanthropy for 2008-2010. At Home Kids is a place where critically ill children and their families can stay in order to escape the hospital and feel a little more comfortable. Most of the money was raised from our benefit in February. The officers also gave out their end of the year awards, and I received the Unsung Hero award for all the publicity I've given the club through The Hinsdalean. I was completely surprised and honored. As a gift, I got a fancy pair of panties! hoot hoot!
