Five years ago today Mark's dad, Big Mark, died. Next Wednesday will mark three years since Mark's sister Jane passed. Despite the muggy, nasty weather today, Jean and I headed over to Holy Seplucher and placed mums at Big Mark and Jane's headstones. The weather was fitting for the task.
These Cuthberts are a strong people. They've been through more in five years than many families suffer in a lifetime. I'm proud to have joined them, and amazed everyday of their strength, and ability to find happiness again.
