One Busy Month

July has been jam packed with visitors in the Cuthbert House. GrandPam came to visit for 10 days followed by a quick visit from Auntie Juls and Stephen. We also snuck in a weekend in Michigan with the McCarthy crew. It's hard to believe this month is almost over and that John is now almost 4 months. Crazy how time flies. This weekend we'll do our annual Booze Cruisin Cottage Weekend in Michigan with our friends. This will be my first time away from John for more than a night... We'll see how it goes! I will miss the little bugger, however, I will be taking full advantage of getting a FULL night's rest three nights in a row!
We Cuthberts also have been filling our hot summer nights with naked noo noo time on the back lawn. John loves being diaper free while trying to grab at lightening bugs, and Mark and I enjoy having a glass of wine and watching the little guy wind down at the end of the day.

CC, thanks for your sweet note. I really can't believe John is 4 months already. He is simply edible. I love your evening ritual of letting him romp naked while you and Mark enjoy a glass of wine in the backyard. I'm proud of you for soaking up these moments. They are so precious and fleeting! You'll blink your eyes and he'll be starting pre-school like Carter Anne did this week. :-)
