The Schnitzel Won Third!

With Juls in town the three of us headed up to Milwaukee on Saturday for German Fest. After witnessing the fun last year, we decided to enter Fergi and Winston in the Dachshund races. Mister Winston was in the Bratwurst catatogy. Wearing a pink bandana, Mister darted out about 20 feet, then scatched himself and turned around. God bless him for trying!

Fergi on the other hand, kicked some major tail! She was in the Schnitzel category and placed third. She was awesome! She ran full speed ahead only to stop a few inches from the finish line to sniff treats! I finally got her to cross and she placed third! Considering it was her first race, I am beyond proud of my little chubeetza.
