Bundle Up Chicago!
Today was the coldest day on record in more than a decade in Chicago. It's currently -31 degrees outside with the wind chill. And for you Californians, I can't even begin to explain what it feels like. The best of describing it is I left the house this morning with a running nose and that quickly froze. My hound dogs are refusing to go outside to pee and we have these HUGE, scary icycles hanging everywhere in town that are scaring the crap out of me. It would be just my luck that one would come falling down on me! These suckers are huge, some five feet long and several inches in diameter. I don't mind the snow, but the icycles can go. I'm going to go around my house and knock them all down when I get home tonight.

I am in my tank top, and working in the garden, sweating like a pig. I worked the bees today, and was So overheated! Crazy weather! I can't even begin to imagine was -31 is...y'all can move out here!
